Your Richmond Commercial Development Company
A Woman-Owned Small Business in VA
Trinity Commercial Development, LLC was launched in 2008 by sisters who grew up working in their family’s residential homebuilding business. Since then, Trinity has grown to be a well-respected, SBA certified 100% Woman-Owned Small Business as well as a SWaM-certified business through Virginia’ SBSD as Small and Woman-Owned.
Janet King
2020 was a milestone year for Trinity, as Janet King began building again exclusively under the Trinity brand!
Specialized Project Experience in Central Virginia
After earning her business degree from Virginia Tech, Janet King began a successful corporate banking career as a construction specialist in Commercial Real Estate lending that spanned a decade. She then accepted a senior officer position with one of her clients and provided strategic management in their sitework business, while growing and re-branding a start-up containers business at the same time launching a new general contracting business.
It was with that very experience she was able to blend her corporate banking, general contracting, land development, real estate, and small business insights to provide clients with a unique and highly specialized project experience.
Construction Management and More
Debbie Stoddard earned a Building Construction Management degree from East Carolina University. With experience in land prospecting, building subdivisions and beautiful custom and work-force housing homes, she has a keen eye for design and is well known for interpreting and sketching up some of Janet’s ideas over an afternoon lunch (literally on a napkin).
Maintenance & Design Meet
Building a team is about recognizing talent and integrity, and in 2021, Janet was able to recruit a former player from her past team, Gary Hollowell. Gary brings over 30 years of Industrial and Commercial construction experience with a specialty in HVAC and sitework. He has an impressive background in the operations of power plants, chemical plants, manufacturing plants, paper mills, and petroleum facilities. Gary has experience in managing capital projects including new facilities and facilities repairs, replacement and preventative maintenance up to $100 million annually. He also understands the critical path in coordination and timing involved in shutdowns.
In 2019, Gary became Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. This certification is based on risk assessment of shutdown projects.
